We made it!

We had a nice flight on LAN and with the help of
dramamine and some complimentary chilean
Wine on board, I was feeling great!
We did have to get xrayed and patted down
Before boarding.
When we arrived we had to pay a $160
Reciprocity fee per person. That's a tit for tat fee
Since the USA charges chilean visitors.
Then we had to get our tourista visa stamp
And then customs for a baggage check to make sure
We arent bringing in anything that might harm their
Agriculture.
R picked us up and brought us home and C fed us some
Great homemade stew.
Thursday we had to get some paperwork done in downtown Santiago.
We got a RUT number so we can buy a car and pay taxes!
We visited the american embassy and saw the tallest building in South America.
Santiago is very busy and very crowded.
The smog is bad here in the winter because it is in a valley. the views of the snowcapped
Mountains are tremendously beautiful. Even from the house here you can see the mountains.
I am having troubles with the pictures but will get it figured out soon
Adios for now!

We had thought about a camper. They also
Have RV's here but they are both more expensive.
We are just going to stay at our friends house and use
    It as our base camp.
